Massage Therapy

Coconut oil is ideal for massage – it protects skin, lathers and melts easily upon skin contact and easily washes out of towels.  Other oils stain and leave odours on towels after a while.

You need: ½ cup coconut oil, ¼ cup cocoa butter, few drops essential oil, optional (5 drops or less per ounce of coconut oil)

  1. To make the massage oil, soften the coconut oil & cocoa butter in a double boiler over medium heat.
  2. Remove from the heat and blend, adding a few drops of optional essential oils.  Use five (5) drops of essential oil – or less – per ounce of coconut oil.
